meet the artists
Izis Mollinedo (ensemble) is an actor, singer and musician originally from Chicago, IL. She attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she received a BFA in acting. She is a company member with Babes With Blades Theatre Company and in the past has also worked with The Hypocrites, Pride Films and Plays, The Unrehearsed Shakespeare Theatre Company, E.D.G.E. Theatre, and Signal Ensemble Theatre.
Karissa Murrell Myers (ensemble) has been in Goodman Theatre’s Gloria and King of the Yees (understudy) and the 2016 New Stages staged reading of Amy and the Orphans. Chicago credits include Farewell My Friend ((re)discover theatre, where she is an ensemble member); Tea (Prologue Theatre Company); A Girl’s Gotta Do, Etc. (A-Squared Theatre); Tiresias’ Bedsheet (Something Marvelous); Silenced (Collaboraction); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (GreenMan Theatre). Touring credits include Rumpelstiltskin (Missoula Children’s Theatre). Television credits include Chicago MED, The Exorcist, and Electric Dreams. Karissa holds a MFA in Performance from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a BA in Acting/Directing with a Minor in Music for Vocal Performance from Boise State University.
Nelia Miller (ensemble) is a voice- and body-based performer based in Chicago. She has most recently performed with Mozawa Theater Company in A Dream Play at High Concept Laboratories and at The Agency Theatre Collective's Basement Series. She has devised and performed with Collaboraction, Walkabout, The New Colony, Runaways Lab Theater, Chicago Danztheatre, and 1MPF. She has studied abroad at Moscow Art Theatre and with Song of the Goat's Artistic Director Grzegorz Bral, and performed at Theatre im Ballsaal in Bonn, Germany. Sarah Taylor (Singer) is excited to be collaborating on Echo! She holds an MFA in Physical Theatre from Accademia dell'Arte. She's devised and performed with companies all over Europe including Familie Floez (Germany), Continuo (Czech Republic), and FLIC Circus (Italy). Some of her Chicago credits include Hope Wanted (BEAT Theatre Collective), Collaboraction's Peacebook Festival '16, and Iron Irene: A Musical Fable (MCL Chicago Premier Premier's Festival). Sarah is currently a company member for The Murder Mystery Company and an Experience Design Mover for Collaboraction.
Liz Bagby's (Composer) music has appeared in numerous productions, including The Ballad of Romeo and Juliet (American Myth Theatre), The Dancing Plague and Chalk (Right Brain Project), The Three Faces of Dr. Crippen and Shakespeare's King Phycus (Strange Tree), The Ballad of the Sad Café (Signal), Practical Anatomy (Sansculottes), and many others. She plays bass for The Unswept and fronts her own band, Liz and the Baguettes. When not making music or theater, she writes and draws oddball comics.
